Description:

AQUAVAC® IridoV is an injectable monovalent oil-adjuvanted vaccine that stimulates active immunity to reduce mortality due to Red Seabream Iridovirus (RSIV) and Infectious Spleen and Kidney Necrosis Virus (ISKNV).

Onset of immunity has been demonstrated 10 days after vaccination at a water temperature of 27°C. The vaccine has been tested for safety and efficacy in tilapia (Oreochromis sp.) and Asian sea bass (Lates calcarifer) as representative species. The vaccine may be used in other fish species. However, if so, its use should be undertaken with care and it is advisable to test the vaccine on a small number of fish prior to mass vaccination.

Duration of immunity has been demonstrated for at least 15 weeks after a single vaccination. Administer 0.05 ml intraperitoneally as a single-injection dose in fish no less than 5 grams. Vaccinate at ventral side of the fish between the tip of the pelvic fins.

The vaccine can be used in combination with other compatible injections made from the oil-based AQUAVAC® range of vaccines, such as AQUAVAC® Strep Sa, AQUAVAC® Strep Sa1 and AQUAVAC® TenaSi.

Only vaccinate healthy fish.
