Description:

AQUAVAC® Strep Si is a monovalent water-based suspension for immersion or injection with inactivated strain of Streptococcus iniae which stimulates active immunity to aid in the control of outbreaks of streptococcal disease caused by Streptococcus iniae. Vaccination by dip immersion is recommended from 3 grams and onwards and vaccination by intraperitoneal injection is recommended from 20 grams and onwards. The preferred method for vaccination is by intraperitoneal injection. Inject 0.1 ml vaccine intraperitoneally at the ventral side of the fish.
If early protection is needed, fish can be vaccinated by dip immersion using 1 liter of vaccine mixed with 9 liters of hatchery water. Immerse 1 kg of fish into this vaccine solution for 30 seconds. Ensure good oxygenation or aeration during immersion vaccination and prepare a new vaccine solution after having vaccinated 50 kg of fish. The vaccine has been tested for safety and efficacy in Asian seabass (Barramundi, Lates calcarifer) as a representative species. The vaccine may be used in other fish species.

Only vaccinate healthy fish.

Composition per dose: 1 x 10 ₁₀ bacterial cells of Streptococcus iniae SB 430 per ml of vaccine.

For immersion: 50 kg maximum weight of fish / 1000 ml
For injection: 1 x 2500 ds / 250 ml
