Description:

FINQUEL® (tricaine mesylate) is for use as a sedative and anaesthetic for Atlantic salmon, Rainbow trout and experimentally for cod, for vaccination and handling.
Tricaine mesylate is rapidly absorbed via the gills of the fish and can be used for sedation to fast anaesthesia, depending on dosage.
When used in fresh water best effect is achieved when the anaesthetic solution is buffered with sodium bicarbonate.
Withdrawal period: 25 degree days.
